Myrtle Beach has outstanding entertainment year-round, with many up-and-coming local performers as well as established legends who frequent the Myrtle Beach music and entertainment venues.

We have covered local life, including Myrtle Beach bands, for over a decade on the web, and also on the Myrtle Beach TV show, which aired for 24 episodes on FOX and 24/7/365 as well as simulcast on the web.

Most of the local music scene coverage was done on the Myrtle Beach TV show, which includes music videos by local acts and entertainers who we believe to be gems worth seeing by both locals and visitors to the Myrtle Beach area.

Top Local Duo: The Hitchhikers

Watch the local club circuit, and anywhere that The Hitchhikers perform is the place to be! The Hitchhikers is a two-man group consisting of Dusty Stanton and Randy Atwood, each an outstanding entertainer in his own right. The Hitchhikers play a variety of popular music that engages the crowds - especially the ladies - every time we see them perform.

Top Local Rap Artist: AJ Case

AJ Case, an up-and-coming rap artist in the Myrtle Beach area, is preparing for a national tour that kicks off in 2008. This talented singer/songwriter garnered accolades with the signature single Lifted on his recently completed second CD, which followed the release of his debut CD, N' The Grand Scheme of Things.

Most Versatile Local Performer: Brian Tiernan

Brian Tiernan is one of the most versatile performers we've ever had the pleasure of watching. Brian has a gifted voice that has mastered different musical styles, ranges, and genres. If that's not enough, he's a master ventriloquist and, along with Jerry, sings and entertains every crowd.

Top Local Band: You pick 'em...

We're still looking for the band we want to give that designation... That said, we've listened to many talented local bands so it's a tough choice!
